To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Speck!

Speck was found wandering the streets and, when called, he came running and was excited to jump on the car!

We believe he had an owner as he wasn't terribly matted, but the mechanic shop workers mentioned he had been walking around looking for food for almost 2 weeks. They had never seen him before and he slept in the abandoned lot next door. He was not neutered or chipped, was without any collar or form of ID, so after a week of posting notifications in the hope an owner would be found< it was obvious he was no longer wanted. Happily for Speck, we couldn't leave him behind and he is now looking for his furever family!

He is a sweet boy and has been fostered in a home with other large and small dogs along with multiple cats, he has not been crate trained because he has done very well inside a home with restrictions and is not a destructive young dog. He is not a big barker but when he barks he has a deep low bark, he is an easy going soul who can be silly but LOVES to be next to his humans, he would love to be your companion and loves his food!
