To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Rizzo!

Rizzo is a sweet and very goofy and playful little poodle mix who loves to be loved and would love to be in someone's lap as long as he possibly could. He will be a wonderful family member!

He is lovable, not a big barker, a tall legged fellow ( but only 13 pounds) with a medium coat. He is almost house trained, rides well in car, is crate trained, and does well on a leash. He loves belly rubs and to play with toys (LOVES squeaky toys) and to toss them around. He is fine with cats and will play with dogs, but still is trying to get the hang of "how" to play with the dogs. He is fine as long as they don't get in his personal space. He doesn't liked to be touched by other dogs and, if he is, he won't bite, but will be vocal and bark. He would be ok with other dogs, but might do best and be the most comfortable as an only dog, loving all of your attention.
