Meet Ethan!
This handsome orange tabby was rescued as a single kitten when rescued off the streets of Ensenada, Baja. He was underweight at only 3 pounds and battling a cold when he was helped by a good sam who then contacted us to accept him into our rescue care. He has been in San Diego since September and once we treated him for his cold and placed some healthy weight on him he was storng enoug to be vetted. He is now a strong, healthy and very handsome tabby who is done with all his medical and felv/fiv negative. READY to find his forever humans, Ethan adores cats, he is 'ok' with dogs but stays at a healthy distance from them, if applicants have dogs they must be very gentle towards cats because Ethan likely encountered some dogs in the streets and can be scared of them if they are too playful and try to strongly approach. He is loving and loves to be petted, he can be a little scardy cat and try to shy away when people approach him but once being petted he enjoys it. He is the type of cat who will blossom with a human who will spend time with him petting him, can see him be a total lap cat. Currently he shares the foster home with several other foster siblings both dogs and cats. Has excellent litter box manners and is a clown when playing with toys, there is no toy he doesnt' love.
