Meet Poplar!
2/25/26 - Here is what Poplar's foster family has to say:
Poplar is the sweetest, most dopey little kitten I've ever met! He has made me laugh more than any other kitty I've fostered, as his silly antics and genuine excitement about little things (like finding a feather or seeing his own shadow) are so adorable. Like Koko, he absolutely loves playtime with his best friend, and the two of them will entertain each other for hours running around and wrestling. He is so innocently curious about the world around him, and you can often see the gears turning in his head as he experiences new things (like ceiling fans being turned on or watching crows through a window outside). While he certainly has the classic kitten spurts of energy, most of the time he's an incredibly chill cat who loves relaxing right next to you and recharging his batteries for his next bout of playtime with Koko. He's such a good kitten!!
Original Rescue Story:
This handsome love bug comes to us from Ensenada. He is currently fostered in North Park along with fellow foster sister Koko. Both of them are such sweet kitties and became fast friends. It took them a day to be friends and they would be a great duo! It is not needed for them to be adopted together, BUT they are required to be adopted into a home with another cat if not adopted together.
Our adoption fee is higher than city shelters because we retroviral test our rescue cats, unlike city shelters like SDHS and other rescues. Poplar is FeLV/FIV negative and is fully vetted. IF home checks, landlord approvals, and the adoption fee is not a determining factor for you to adopt, please submit an application today! Once we receive an application we will text or email to schedule a call. If you do not hear from us within 24-72 hours, please reach out. Visit ARWOB.org
