Georgie was adopted in November 2025. We received this outstanding pupdate about him. Here is what his adoptive mom had to say about this handsome boy:
"Thanks for checking in on Georgie! He is doing great! He is a happy, playful boy and very affectionate. He has become a part of our pack and has no issues with anyone. I am in the process of signing him up for a class at Petsmart. I expect he will do well because he seems to be a very smart boy. He is the first dog I've had that actually notices other dogs on our tv. He'll sit for a few minutes and watch what they're doing. Georgie has fit right in with our family and we love him a lot!"
Ginger was adopted in February 2025. She now has a new feline brother named Sam and they have become BFFs! Here is what her adoptive dad had to say about her. We agree that the pictures say it all!
"Ginger is doing great and she and Sam have bonded really well. Enough said, I've attached pictures that are worth a thousand words."
Rosa (fka Godiva) was adopted in May 2024. We received this wonderful "pupdate" from her adoptive family and we are so happy to hear she has made them complete! Rosa just graduated from her puppy classes at Petco and as you can see from the photo, she is posing with her proud parents.
"We are so happy with her. She is turning into a great dog. We renamed her Rosa. We took her to puppy classes at Petco; she just graduated. She has gained a lot of confidence through the class and by us taking her to different places and introducing her to the dogs of friends and family. We also took her to Fiesta Island and a dog park and she loved both. She initially feared the car, but we worked with her and she jumps right in now. She’s still nervous about walking near heavy traffic but we are working on that too. When the weather cools, we hope to take her to agility training to further boost her confidence. We will also be trying her out at doggie daycare so she has some puppy play time. She loves to tug and catch balls and frisbee. She gets the zoomies almost every day. She initially had trouble with excited peeing (mostly meeting new people and when I came home from running errands) but even that is getting better. She has no problem with going into her crate at night. Walked her at Mission Trails yesterday and she did great. She’s very loving and affectionate. My parents are smitten with her as well. She’s been to the vet (for a UTI) but is better now after antibiotics. She has health insurance now as well. She also did an extensive grooming and tolerated that very well (bath, nail trim, teeth brushed, etc.). Thanks again for making our family complete again. It took us a long time to find just the right fit after we lost our beloved Sam last October, but we couldn’t have done better than Rosa."
Goldie, who is now known as Lil' Yote, was adopted in May 2023. Here is what her adoptive dad has to say about her:
"Things with Goldie are going great! We actually renamed her lil' yote and she's the world to us. All conversations we have are about her, lol. I take her on either 4-5 mile walks or runs daily. We are planning to start obedience training with her in a few weeks. Thanks for checking in."
Santi (fka Grizzly) was adopted in June 2022. His adoptive mom sent us a nice “pupdate” about him. He is living his best life!
“Thanks for checking in! He’s be doing great, we did end up taking beginner training classes at PetSmart and he loved it. We’re still working on his recall and some separation anxiety but he’s now great with other dogs, big and small! He has so much fun energy and loves going on adventures with us. Definitely gives me an excuse to get outside often.”
