Last year around February we adopted a cat named Bullet through your organization. I just wanted to give you an update on Bullet and tell you what a joy it is to have him in our lives. I don't recall the names of the family that fostered him but I just wanted to thank them again for fostering. They did such an amazing job with him from getting him used to nail trimmings (which helps us a lot) to desensitizing him to dogs. I know it was hard for them to let the little guy go since it was their first foster that they had ever done. Bullet has been such a great comfort while my husband has been deployed. He turned out to be quite the cuddler. My dog Spirit has never been one to cuddle on the bed at night so having him around has really helped with the deployment. Bullet and Spirit are starting to understand each other and Bullet likes to make sounds at her when she wanders back in his area. Normal happy greeting sounds though almost as if they are having a conversation. He has also become quite the big boy but still loves to run and play with his wand toys. He got a ton of those for Christmas and loved dodging in and out from under our live tree this year. He is just Mr. Personality and he is quickly turning this "dog person" into a "cat fan". Thank you so much he has really has been a blessing. Sincerely, Laura (January 20, 2013)
[Bronx] has become such a big part of our family and our lives. We love him so much. He has been such a great fit for our active lifestyle and has grown into such a wonderful, sweet dog. I've attached a few pictures of some our adventures with him. Thank you for doing everything that you do to rescue puppies like Bronx. Sincere thanks, Hannah & Andrew 8/14/2013
"We've been meaning to check in with you to let you know how the kitties are doing. We love them more and more each day! They are definitely great snuggle buddies and enjoy chasing each other up and down the hallway at all hours of the day and night. We have found out that Louie has all sorts of acrobatic skills when he is chasing a toy. I've included a funny picture of him at Christmas time. He had just leaped into the air to grab a toy but it looks as if he is springing onto Bitty. Hope all is going well!" Heather and Ryan (4/21/11)
"Becks (that is Becca's new name) is working out fine so far. She is very attacehd to me and loves to play and chew on her raw-hide bones. She has done great with other dogs at the park. I have attached a photo of her "kissing" my friends Rottweiler." -Kevin
Here's what Babe's new parents have said about their addition: Babe( we call him Benny now- Benito del Toro) is the light of our life and we love love love him so much. He has brought joy to our house and we can't imagine a better dog ever. Here is a picture of him in his "office" bed. He goes with me or Gigi everywhere and we love to have play dates with other dogs at the park and the beach.
