 Scheduled Adoption Events

To see all events, visit our EVENT CALENDAR Page.

To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Foster a Rescue

Fostering is
  FREE and FUN!

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Colby

A wonderful update from our Facebook page:

"This is Colby. I adopted Colby and Jersi after I began volunteering with ARWOB. I tried fostering them but fell in love and they are such a big part of my life. Colby is the sweetest boy ever! Adopted in August 2014."

Chikis

A sweet update from our Facebook page about Chiclet (fka Chikis):

This is Chiclet f/k/a Chikis, my other ARWOB rescue. Chiclet was my foster dog. One Saturday while I was getting her ready for an adoption event I realized I didn’t want that face looking up at anyone but me. That was about three years ago.

Cheff

A beautiful update from our Facebook page about Zero (fka Cheff):

"We adopted Zero, fka Chef, in Dec 2016. (Zero is on the right, Wilson, our foster failure is on the left.) Apparently he'd been on the streets 2-3 years and he was completely shut down and in pretty bad shape when we got him. He'll always have PTSD but now he's a totally different boy! He loves going to the dog park to play with his friends. Every night he and Wilson have a play session that lasts a solid hour. And this boy lives for hikes! The best part about Zero though is his cuddles. I couldn't live without them/him. Thank you ARWOB for saving my best friend!"

Casanova

An amazing update from our Facebook page about Oliver (fka Casanova):

"This is our sweet sweet Oliver. We have had him now for a year and he is amazing. I don't know how we could live without him."

Charity

A beautiful update from our Facebook page:

"This is Clover (formerly Charity) and, as with Cheddar, she was adopted in August of 2013. Although she was from a different litter than Cheddar, the two of them became attached at the hip as kittens. As with Cheddar, I fell in love the moment I held her and, again, am so grateful to ARWOB for finding forever homes for Clover and her 3 siblings. Clover LOVES all toys and nothing makes her happier than chasing after anything on a wand, or any toy in general. The addition of Cheddar and Clover as family members has brightened each and every day that they have been with me."
