"I/we absolutely love Libby aka "the baby." She is so precious and so perfect for our family - I can't imagine life without her. As you will see from the photo below, Libby and Abbey are best buds and Savannah is slowly coming around. So far, no more issues between Abbey and Savannah; I'm keeping a close watch on the three of them. Libby has an appointment with Dr. Ungar at Kensington Vet on Thursday, April 21st for her last set of shots, so hopefully she'll be able to walk in the neighborhood soon." --Pat (4/15/11)
"We've been meaning to check in with you to let you know how the kitties are doing. We love them more and more each day! They are definitely great snuggle buddies and enjoy chasing each other up and down the hallway at all hours of the day and night. We have found out that Louie has all sorts of acrobatic skills when he is chasing a toy. I've included a funny picture of him at Christmas time. He had just leaped into the air to grab a toy but it looks as if he is springing onto Bitty. Hope all is going well!" Heather and Ryan (4/21/11)
Lula, now Lily Lamb, enjoying herself in her new forever home along with another ARWOB rescue, Scout. Both live happily as a dynamic duo, always by each other's side each and everyday.
Lady was one of our rescues back in 2008 when our group was still relatively new. We heard from Lady recently and would like to share what her forever family has to report about her: "We just wanted to touch bases with you and let you know how well Lady is doing. She is awesome and has become such a treat to our family. We reached another milestone with her last weekend. We decided to go take her for a walk down at the beach and so off in the car we went to Mission Bay. She had so much fun and never barked at anyone. She was so busy smelling all the new territory and just loved it. We were so proud of her. She is very protective of all of, but especially of Lisa. She will let a NEW face to her know that she is in charge at first and then she lets them pet her. What a blessing she is to us. Thank you so much for doing what you did for her and us. We appreciate it. Here is a picture of her taking a rest in one of her favorite places. :) Take care."
