We received this wonderful update about Peanut (fka Duchess) and Peachy (fka Marie), who were adopted together in April 2021. This is what their adoptive Mom has to say about them:
"Thank you for checking in! We've renamed our girls to Peanut (Duchess) and Peachy (Marie), and they're all settled in with us. Our lil' Peanut is a skilled hunter! Girlfriend scrambles, leaps, and swipes at her bird toys like she's in the cat Olympics. Such rawness! It's a lot of fun playing with her. When she's all tuckered out, she patiently sits by my feet, waiting for me to tell her it's ok to jump up on my lap. Very polite. She's affectionate and loves to cuddle in the evenings when my partner and I are having movie nights. Our sweet Peachy is just that. All sugar! She loves to rub up on legs and roll around on her back for pets. This girlfriend has a lot to say. She likes to greet us with chirps in the morning and loud, throaty meows when it's breakfast and dinner time. She's a patient cat and will tolerate our hugs and kisses! Both of our girls are just the best cats with their own funny personalities. Thank you, ARWOB, for these wonderful creatures."
We received this wonderful "pupdate" about Melon, who was adopted in April 2021. Here is what his adoptive mom has to say about him:
"Melon seems to be settling in great. He absolutely loves dogs and gets along really well with all that he’s met at my work. He goes to work with me twice a week and mainly socializes but receives some basic command training and works on building confidence through agility and enrichment activities. He’s much more comfortable meeting new people with other dogs around so it’s been the perfect environment for him to meet new humans and learn that it usually means getting a treat! He hasn’t grown much more since I’ve got him, I’m guessing he’ll be around the 60 range but I’m still prepared for a growth spurt lol. He gets along great with my roommates’ dogs and my cat. My main focus right now is still building a strong bond and exposure with walks so he can be more desensitized to sudden distractions like skateboarders and gardening equipment because he can get a bit spooked."
We receive a wonderful "pupdate" about Murphy, who was adopted in March 2021. Here is what his new family has to say about him:
"Murphy has settled in so well with us! We absolutely adore having him as part of the family. His favorite thing (when he isn't lounging in the sunshine on the grass) is to play ball. We love watching him bat the ball around like a cat! He also loves going for walks in the neighborhood and playing with every dog and human he meets. He doesn't seem to have grown much so I think he will actually be smaller than we thought (he is about 30lbs now). We are trying to organize some training sessions with him, but due to COVID restrictions we haven't yet started. We have found that he is a quick learner of some basic commands and overall is a gentle and friendly boy. Best wishes and thank you for the incredible work you all do."
Here are some great photos that we received of Jubilee (fka Maddie) who was adopted from ARWOB in March 2016. She is living the life of fun and adventure!
We received a sweet "pupdate" about Mateo, who was adopted from ARWOB in February 2021. Here is what his adoptive mom has to say about him:
"Our little puppy Mateo has settled in really nicely. Our cat and Mateo became fast friends and now they’re inseparable and wear each other out. He recovered really well from his neuter surgery, and we make sure that he receives a lot of exercise every day. He’s such a cuddle bug and we’re obsessed with his cute face!"
