We received this amazing story from Mitzi's adoptive family! Mitzi is now known as Maya and she is loving life: I adopted Maya (previously Mitzi) in January 2017 from the ARWOB at the Clairemont PetSmart. At the time, I had hoped that I would find a cat to take care of and nurture. However, from the moment I brought her home, I realized that Maya has the same desire to take care of others. Maya is a very unique cat, and everyone who meets her tells me I got incredibly lucky. This little peanut has so much personality. She talks to me whenever she is hungry, needs extra attention, or cannot find her brother. She loves to be carried around and held. She follows me everywhere I go and gets upset when I leave because she does not understand why she cannot go with me. She walks me to the door every morning when I leave for work. She loves people so much that if she meets someone she DO NOT like, I take it very seriously! Maya came into my life when I really needed a loyal companion and I could not have asked for more. Thank you ARWOB!
Six years ago, we adopted this guy. Mack has been the greatest dog in the history of dogs. He is big - 125 lbs! He loves to travel (Santa Fe, Baja) and he loves to swim in the waves at Dog Beach. He loves to paddle board and to kayak. He goes on hikes every single day, and he loves living at our house and playing on our property.
We had the honor of Adopting Chewie AKA Marshy on March 5th, 2016. We were told he was one of the runts of his litter, and it's so amazing to see how much he has grown into a smart and strong dog. He has the funniest personalities! He loves to sit on our head when on the couch, and wag not just his tail but his whole butt when excited. He has TONS of toys to play and chew on and surprisingly has not destroyed our home what so ever! He has been so easy to train he doesnâÂÂt eat his food or food we accidentally drop on the ground unless we tell him okay, he sits, lays and sometimes stay. He loves to take walks off his leash and chase his favorite green ball. We canâÂÂt sit on the couch without him wanting to be right by our side. He has the sweetest personality and is patiently waiting for a brother or sister to come and play with him. We would love to see or meet any of his siblings. Thank you ARWOB for giving us the chance to be great parents to this adorable pup.
