Deacon (fka Patrick) was adopted from ARWOB in April 2013. He is enjoying a happy life with his canine sister Layla (fka Patricia) and newly rescued brother and sister kitties (Colin and Shelby). Deacon's family has told us that Deacon just turned 8 years old on January 2nd (that's the date they chose for his birthday) and Layla is a few months shy of 5 years old. Their adoptive dad has said that everyone love everyone!!
We received a fantastic "pupdate" about Simba (fka Mumbly), who was adopted from ARWOB in April 2020. He is enjoying life with his new family! Here is what his mom has to say about him:
"We have been delighted to have Mumbly, we actually renamed him Simba. He loves going on hikes and pack walks with his brother and cousin. He enjoys our yoga sessions as well. He is such a loving dog. We are so happy to have him being part of our family."
ARWOB received this amazing "pupdate" about Juan (fka Ben), who was adopted in April 2020. Here is what his new family has to say about him:
"We adopted Juan (formerly Benji) in April and it changed our lives! He is such a funny, loving, energetic little dog! He loves swimming in the ocean, playing fetch nonstop (literally all day if we would let him), and cuddling with mom and dad after his evening zoomies."
ARWOB received a fabulous "pupdate" about Emma, who was adopted from us in April 2020. Here is what her adoptive mom has to say about her:
"Emma is doing fantastic! We could not have asked for a better match for our family. Her favorite thing is to cuddle up on the couch with me, which is all I ever wanted. She loves to run and play fetch with my husband and the kids. We like to go to the desert where she can run freely on the golf course and play. We are all so happy with her and can’t imagine life without her. Thank you so much for allowing us to adopt her!"
We received a very nice "pupdate" about Zorina (fka Gordita), who was adopted from ARWOB in April 2020. What a fantastic way to start the new year!
"Gordita is now Zorina, aka “Zora.” She has settled into her new life rather comfortably! We were still very sad from the loss of a previous fur baby, and within a few days of coming into our home, Zora brought the sunshine back into our lives. On her own terms she has become the nucleus of our family. Zora enjoys doing EVERYTHING… well except for taking baths. She loves her family so whole heartedly, and we all love her the same. She enjoys going to the beach, Fiesta Island, walking around the mall, going shopping, riding in “her” car, opening presents, taking her mom and dad for walks, visiting her fur cousins… She also goes to the dog park almost daily and is VERY popular with both the furry kids and the humans. We used to be people who didn’t allow the doggies on the couch… well, Zorina has decided that is not a very good rule. She also has a king size bed which WE are so grateful that she shares with us every night. I know this quote that goes “dogs are not our whole lives, but the make our lives whole.” I find this to be quite fitting for this wonderful, fantastic little girl."
