We received this fantastic "pupdate" for Sadie (fka Pumpkin), who was adopted from ARWOB in November. She is certainly enjoying a life of love and adventure with her new mom!
"I’m so grateful for ARWOB and for gifting me my beautiful, best friend Sadie (formerly known as Pumpkin). She’s living the life in San Diego with constant love, affection, treats, walks and trips to the beach!"
We received an adorable update about Tiburon (fka Thomas), a sweet kitten that was adopted from ARWOB in November 2020. He is getting along great with both his feline and canine siblings! It just so happens that Ziggy, his canine brother, was adopted from ARWOB in 2014. What a happy family!
We received this spectacular "pupdate" about Marley (fka Paige), who was adopted from ARWOB in March 2020. Here is what her adoptive dad has to say about her:
"Things are going great with her! She is already 40 lbs and still growing. We named her Marley. She is very playful and loves attention, which she gets plenty of! Her daily walks often turn into play dates with other neighborhood pups, and she loves her home!"
We receive a wonderful "pupdate" for Roxie (fka Desire), who was adopted from ARWOB in April 2015. It just so happens that Roxie's mama also volunteers for us. Here is what she has to say about Roxie:
"Roxie (fka Desire) was rescued by ARWOB in Tijuana. She was covered in ticks, needed a blood transfusion, and was terribly malnourished. ARWOB saved her life. Now she is thriving at her forever home. Roxie is the best family dog you could imagine. She greets everyone with a smile and a wag. Her favorite place is dog beach where she gets to run and play to her heart’s content. She was our first rescue pup, and we are so grateful to ARWOB for bringing us together. We hope everyone considers rescuing a pet!”
We received this fabulous "pupdate" about Covi (fka Joanie). She was adopted from ARWOB in March 2020. Here is what her adoptive mom had to say about her lovely life:
"We renamed Joanie “Covi” in honor of these crazy times, and because the pandemic meant that I would be home a lot more, so we thought it would be a good time to foster/adopt. I did not want my husband to have all the joy while I was away working 4 days a week since he is retired. She has fit right into our family. Our most senior rescue, Ben, who is 15, will play with her even though she has the advantage of youth and short legs (she tries to best him by going for his legs). Our other rescue Dory, who is 13, is not as enamored with Covi, but she is a diva after all! No tiffs, just studied indifference. Covi loves going for walks, so she is my canyon hiking buddy since the others are too senior for long distances. She also likes riding in the car - we took them all to New Mexico in June for my sister’s birthday - but insists on riding in the front, on somebody’s lap. She is lucky the other two are too big for that. She is a quick learner and walks well on a leash, and she was all house trained so yay for older dogs! My husband and I both adore her, and are so happy we adopted her - I think we managed all of two days of “fostering.”
