We received this spectacular "pupdate" about Finn (fka Holmes), who was adopted from ARWOB in March 2020. Here is what his adoptive Dad had to say:
"Holmes is now Finn, and is a happy dog! He loves running at the park, playing chase, going for boat rides, and going to dog beach. Could not have asked for a better pup!"
Hanna (fka Fluffy) was adopted from ARWOB in October 2014. We received this nice "pupdate" from her adoptive Dad:
"Hanna is now about 8 years old and doing well. She’s a little mellower in her advancing years, but not that much. She’s still loves her daily walks and barks a lot and gets along with other dogs once she gets to know them. Her good buddy, a Lapso Apso, past away from Cushing’s syndrome about 3 months ago and she still sometimes looks for her. In the fall of 2019 she had most of her teeth extracted because of poor gums so she’s since been on soft food and she has just recovered from ehrlichiosis. So she’s been through a lot from living on the streets of Tecate to undergoing dental work and then a tick infection. Her vet said she’s a real trooper. We all agree and are glad we have her."
We received this fabulous "pupdate" for Jerry, who was adopted from ARWOB in March 2020. It would seem he is BFF with his doggy sister Pepper!
"Jerry is such a love bug!! I am so happy that he chose us to be his family. He is very close to his older sister Pepper. They really enjoy playing together. Recently, I took him and Pepper to Fiesta Island and he had such a blast. I absolutely love him. Thank you for rescuing him and all you do."
Phoebe (fka Halley) was adopted from ARWOB in March 2020. We received this adorable "pupdate" from her adoptive family:
"This is Phoebe, previously known as Halley! She is a sweet and comical baby who will follow you around and never likes to be the first to go to bed. If you are up, she is up for as long as you are. I also had to include a blurry photo of her playing with a ball because fetch is her favorite game and always has been. Does not matter if she just went on a walk, she will keep playing for as long as you keep throwing. I have also learned that though she can be a bit timid with new people, she has yet to turn down a game of fetch from anyone. I have made sure to use that to my advantage when introducing her to new people. Not to forget that she will do anything for you when she hears the word “cookie.” I am happy to say she has made our house feel a lot less empty, and is very loved by my family."
We received this fabulous "pupdate" about Anita, who was adopted from ARWOB in March 2020. She looks very well loved by her human brother. And it sure looks like she enjoys her time at dog beach! Here is what her adoptive mom has to say about her:
"Anita is doing wonderful! She is such a joy to have in our family! She is the sweetest, most gentle, loving girl! My 5 year old son says they are best buds! She loves chasing lizards in the backyard and running around at the dog beaches! We are so happy to have her!!"
