Cassie

Cassie has became a true family member, feeling just wonderful. She is very active, extremely sweet and playful. She sometimes climbs on us and start to kiss us in the faces:). Well, here is a picture for you. Thank you again for letting us adopt her! Alex and Mariya

Teepee

We adopted this little guy a few weeks ago, and he is such a lovebug! Merlin (formerly Teepee) loves to play and explore, but when he tires himself out, he likes to snuggle while he naps. He won over our other cats quickly with his fearless desire to play smile emoticon We are so happy we went through ARWOB to rescue the newest member of our family. We love him! Thank you!

Kip

Adoption update on Giotto, aka Kip. Giotto likes to take walks on the boardwalk And sometimes stops to contemplate the ocean.... Long walks Are tiring but there is always a comfy bed waiting for him! 🐶 We Are so happy He is now part of our family!

Luke

Dear ARWOB, I wanted to reach out today, March 14th, as it has been a full year today that we adopted Luke from your organization. He has brought so much joy to our lives and we are so happy we contacted you about Luke this time last year. He is happy, healthy, smart and energetic pup and we're delighted we are is forever home. I've attached a collage of some of the best pictures we took from the last year, and have also donated for Luke's one year anniversary so his fellow pups have a better chance at finding their homes. Thank you to your organization and the foster families for all that you do to save these dogs lives! All the best, Michele and John

Nala

Happy new year! Kelsey and I wanted to send you an update on our two cat adoptions from the end of August. One was Sideburns, and the other was Nala. They are doing GREAT!! Sideburns has lost a couple pounds since we started weighing him. About a month after we adopted him he was 16 lbs, and now he is 14 lbs. He looks really healthy! We really got rid of his extra chub. And he runs around so much more now that is at a healthier weight. Though, no worries, his purr motor still revs up quite often, especially for food. And Nala has grown up a lot! She is 7 months now and a little over 6 lbs. She was 3.5 when she showed up. She is just full of so much energy, and goes on her own solo rampages often. When we first met her, she was hiding out in the play room at the Clairemont Petsmart when we were meeting Sideburns. She jumped out and surprised us with what is her signature 'play cry'. She continues to make the same noises 4.5 months later! She also squeaks in a way very similar to a mountain pika, so that's her new name. They get along great together! Though they are not a pair that always sleeps together. They do occasionally. And the kitten is happier to be bigger as the big guy was a little rough at playing at first (rough, but not aggressive). Sometimes the kitten bothers him too much but he needs to be chased around a little to lose some of those extra pounds he came with for free when we adopted him! :) Here are a few pictures from the last few months: Cheers! Kelsey and Jeff, and Moose (formerly Sideburns) and Pika (formerly Nala))
