To see all events, visit our EVENT CALENDAR Page.

To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Foster a Rescue

Fostering is
  FREE and FUN!

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Pinto

Just thought I would give you an update on Pinto and Indie (Zippo). They are both happy and thriving in our new home in Virginia. We have a huge backyard for them to run and play in and the squirrels are enjoying keeping just out of reach! I have attached a couple of photos from our cross country drive. The pups traveled in the lap of luxury ;) They really enjoyed the Grand Canyon, slept through a major storm and visited Elvis' home in Memphis!

Bear

Our boy is up to 30 lbs!!! Still doing great and sweet as ever. He just wants to be around the family, and we're still trying to teach him Maui the cat is NOT a big squeaky toy! Maui tends to taunt him so kind of deserves it!! Bear's DNA test came back with German Shepard and possible some Boxer which would explain his awesome coat. He still has that great disposition and is a truly amazing pup!

Honey

I'm not even exaggerating. She has been nothing but awesome since I've had her, and I feel like I am the luckiest person ever to have such an amazing dog. We're up in the Sierras, one week into a 3 month road/backpacking trip and she's doing just great. She's the best travel companion I've ever had, in part because she enthusiastically agrees with all of my suggestions (except the one about not chasing squirrels), but also because she is an excellent watch dog and companion (though it is hard to tell if she is watching for bears or squirrels). She has taken to hiking with serious enthusiasm, and loves to have her backpack put on because she knows we're going out (and there might be squirrels!). Seriously, she is awesome. I thought you might enjoy these photos. Thank you for being the ones to introduce her to me.

Gala

Roo (FKA Gala) is living a life of adventure with her humans! They say she's "the best dog ever!!!"

Sandy

Sandy will celebrate her 2nd birthday this month and she's been with us for just over a year.  She and Cozy really love each others company!  I honestly could not ask for a better friend for Cozy.  Sandy is a delightful and affectionate kitty.  We love her so much!
