I wanted to update you as it’s been a year. [Lindy, now named Lilly] is doing amazing.. We worked with a trainer and gave her more time to get over her insecurities and she is really doing well. She is not so dominant and aggressive with Kaley and other dogs. She even now has a little boyfriend name Benji she plays with and she is madly in love with the newest cat we rescued. They play all the time together. She no longer urinates in the house and doesn’t have to wear a diaper any longer. She listens much better and responds to the corrections on our walks to keep her from escalating into crazy dog. I am sending a 50.00 donation to you guys for the holidays over the link in the email I got yesterday and I thought you would be thrilled to know she is going so great. ~Mary 12/4/2013

Last year around February we adopted a cat named Bullet through your organization. I just wanted to give you an update on Bullet and tell you what a joy it is to have him in our lives. I don't recall the names of the family that fostered him but I just wanted to thank them again for fostering. They did such an amazing job with him from getting him used to nail trimmings (which helps us a lot) to desensitizing him to dogs. I know it was hard for them to let the little guy go since it was their first foster that they had ever done. Bullet has been such a great comfort while my husband has been deployed. He turned out to be quite the cuddler. My dog Spirit has never been one to cuddle on the bed at night so having him around has really helped with the deployment. Bullet and Spirit are starting to understand each other and Bullet likes to make sounds at her when she wanders back in his area. Normal happy greeting sounds though almost as if they are having a conversation. He has also become quite the big boy but still loves to run and play with his wand toys. He got a ton of those for Christmas and loved dodging in and out from under our live tree this year. He is just Mr. Personality and he is quickly turning this "dog person" into a "cat fan". Thank you so much he has really has been a blessing. Sincerely, Laura (January 20, 2013)
