06/02/10: "Just wanted to give you a quick update on Heidi (aka Cricket). She is 6 months old now and 35 pounds! She just keeps growing! She is a wonderful puppy and we are completely in love with her. She is traveling with us and has been in over 7 states. She is a great traveler. She rarely barks, loves people and dogs." Heidi has graduated from Puppy School. We are very proud. In 6 short weeks she has not only become part of our family, gained 10 pounds and grown several inches but she has learned several commands including - sit, stay, down, come, leave it and roll over. She is a very smart puppy! Gretchen would be proud too! Enjoy the pictures! Diane
"He's 43 pounds now and almost 7 months old. He's smart as a whip! He's in beginning obedience classes and doing very well :) He's a regular at the dog park and doggie day care so he's really well socialized. I just can't believe how big he is!! The other day I met a lady who says her dog looked just like him when he was little and now he's fully grown and 110 pounds!! I can't imagine Porter ever being that big (but it would be so great if he ever is). :) He's learning to carry an empty backpack now in preparation for a camping/hiking trip this summer. He just has SO much energy :) Hope all is well with you adoptable and adopted creatures." -Sunday
