Wave

We received a spectacular "pupdate" about Barley (fka Wave), who was adopted in June 2021.  Here is what his adoptive mom has to say:

"Thank you for checking in! Wave is doing great and settled into our family nicely. I named him Barley, but kept Wave as his middle name :) I'm so thankful for ARWOB and his foster mom Sylvie for connecting me with the best pup. He's so fun and sweet and I love him so much. I feel that his profile described him very well in size and temperament and they did such a great job with his socialization and early training. He is doing really well with our senior dog, River, and even got him playing again which is awesome. We have to separate them sometimes or the old man will try to play too much! Barley just got his first diploma at Petsmart training and we're continuing with the next levels of training. He loves walks on the trails, fetch, playing with the flirt pole, and he's starting to play frisbee, too. We just have fun and enjoy everyday! Thank you again for everything."

Wells

We received a wonderful update about Oreo (fka Wells), who was adopted in January 2021.  He is settling in to his new friendship with his feline sister Kali.  Here is what his new family has to say about him:

"Day 9 and Oreo (aka Wells) is the King of the House sharing with the Queen - Kali. Sure there was initial hissing, growling, and chasing...He loves her toys.  He comes right to us, is rolling over on his back for belly rubs. We are so grateful for all you did for him."

Willie

We received a wonderful update about Max (fka Willie). Here is what his new family has to say about him:

"My partner and I adopted Willie, now named Max, in April 2020 to keep us and our resident cat Charlie company. We were looking for an outgoing and playful kitty who would liven up our household, and we could not have asked for a better match. Max is now about a year old, and we have enjoyed watching him grow up and learn to navigate the world around him. He loves playtime with any toy, but especially Da Bird or his catnip trout, exploring the great outdoors of the backyard (on a leash), and taking naps with his big sister Charlie close by. Sometimes Charlie finds him a bit too playful for her tastes, but Max makes up for it by showering her in kisses. We all adore him, and his tenacious, exuberant personality makes working at home and quarantining much more enjoyable! I am so grateful that we found Max, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ARWOB to a friend or reach out if we decide to add another fur baby to our family."

Wingnut

We received a wonderful update about Mozart (fka Walnut) and Haydn (fka Wingnut) from their adoptive mom! These handsome siblings were adopted in February. We are so happy for these boys!

"Mozart (fka Walnut) and Haydn (fka Wingnut) are doing just fine, happy and healthy, and I absolutely adore. They also have new nicknames--Mayhem and Mischief. They get along with my older cats, and some unexpected pairings have resulted.

Mozart looks the most like a Siamese, with the beautiful triangular nose patch, large ears, and silky soft fur, all contained within a finely boned body. He is an absolute lap cat, jumping up on me multiple times each day and "tenderizing" me with his delicate paws before settling down for a snuggle. Mozart charmed the socks off the vet on his initial wellness check by booping noses with him. The vet didn't charge me for the visit.

Haydn has grown into a handsome, muscular, sleek cat and spends a lot of time welded to my right side while I sit on my loveseat watching TV. He will reach for my hand if he thinks he isn't getting enough petting, and sometimes one hand isn't enough--he'll reach for the other hand, too, demanding two-handed pets."
