We received this great "pupdate" about Hubert, who was adopted in June 2023. It sure sounds like he won the jackpot with his new family! Here is what his adoptive dad had to say about him:
"Hubert is doing so well! He is currently 35 lbs and as cute as ever. He is so well behaved and so loved. We have not done any formal pet training classes but plan on doing an intermediate training class this month. Everyone that meets Hubert falls in love and says he is the best dog ever!! We love him so much!"
Kirby (fka Shortstop) was adopted in June 2023. We received this nice "pupdate" from her adoptive dad and it sounds like she is living her best life! Here is what her adoptive dad has to say about her:
"Shortstop (now being called Kirby) is doing great! She was definitely shy at first and took a little bit to get used to us but now she is so playful and cuddly. She loves to play fetch and squeaking her dog toy. We are doing dog training and she is doing very well except with the walking training she loves smells so much it’s hard for her to focus but we are working on it. She has been a great addition to our lives and are very excited to experience new adventures with her!"
Taz (fka Napster) was adopted in June 2023 by one of our ARWOB fosters. As the saying goes, Taz was a "foster failure," which means his foster mom fell in love with him and couldn't imagine not making him a permanent part of her family. He has a big canine brother named Apollo and they get along great. We are so happy for Taz! Here is the update that his adoptive mom sent to us:
"Napster is doing great! His new name is Taz! Since he was a foster fail it was an easy transition. He is such a happy and friendly boy and all our friends and neighbors who had met him previously were so excited to hear the news he would be staying. He absolutely adores his 80lb Pyrenees mix brother Apollo and loves playing with him. He has started going on training palk walks and has gone hiking a few times as well. I love going on road trips and camping with my dogs and we are planning a camping trip for the fall which I'm sure he'll love. After losing my first dog last year who was an ARWOB alumn I am proud to now have another."
