Minnie was adopted in May 2023. We kind of chuckle about her name, as we know she will grow up to be a big girl. This week we received a fabulous "pupdate" from her adoptive family and she is doing really well! Here is what her adoptive mom has to say about her:
"It's going great! She's definitely become a more confident dog as she's grown up and is so smart she learns really quickly. We're looking into some formal training for her for a few things she needs to work on still, but she's doing great on overall training! She loves playing with Cleo, her feline sister and is a total goofball. She's very social and loves making new friends everywhere she goes."
Moira (fka Mai) has a new feline sibling named Sebastian! Moira was adopted from ARWOB in July 2021 and Sebastian joined the family in April 2023. Check out the cute photo of the two of them!
Simba (fka as Michael) was adopted in October 2022. He's getting so big and his adoptive mom said he has been the best part of she and her partner's life.
Ashley and her sister Marie were adopted together in November 2021. They joined a loving family, who had adopted an ARWOB pup named Rico in 2017. Recently, they adopted another ARWOB pup named Vincent in April 2023. It's SO wonderful when a loving family returns to ARWOB to adopt their next furry friend! They all are living their best life! Their adoptive mom shared this update about the kitty girls:
"We initially applied to adopt Marie ( Siamese) but couldn’t say no to her sister Ashley ( tabby). Ashley rules the roost here. She is afraid of no one. She plays fetch and is my husband’s favorite. She is sassy like she is pretty. Marie keeps to herself and is a textbook cat. Allows petting until she’s done. Cuddles when she wants. Loves her sis to the max."
Mango has finally found his forever home after a rather tough journey! Mango and his brother were adopted together as kittens back in July 2015. In August of 2021, ARWOB received a call from the San Diego Humane Society stating that the 2 ginger boys were relinquished to them because their family was "moving." We immediately took them back into our care. The boys eventually adjusted to being back with us and in November 2021, Mango was adopted by another family. However, he was relinquished back to ARWOB in November 2022, a whole year after being adopted the 2nd time, because he supposedly didn't get along with the adopter's other cat. Thankfully he found his "purrfect" forever home in February 2023 and his new adoptive mom has said he's doing great! Here is what she has to say about Mango:
"Mango is doing so great! We just love him to pieces. He is settling into the home with all his new toys. He is so affectionate, playful, and smart. Here are a couple of photos of him with his toys and cat tree. We are so thankful to have him in our lives. Thank you!"
