Sweet Oreo (now named Mabel) was adopted in January 2023. Her adoptive dad has this awesome "pupdate" to share with us. Mabel is living her best life!
"We renamed Oreo to Mabel. Mabel has been a delightful addition to our family, she is a wonderful puppy and growing into a great dog -- from 6 pounds to 27 pounds since we got her. She is wonderful with our kids and our cats. Mabel is really happy, she loves to play like a puppy and snuggle on the couch and watch tv. We started puppy classes on February 25th and Mabel is learning fast. She's the best listener when she thinks she's getting a treat, and she's quick to pick up the new lessons. She's house-trained, she likes her crate, she enjoys loose-leash walking, and she does great when we leave her home."
Bonnie was adopted in January 2023 and her adoptive dad has told us she's doing great. Here she is looking very much like a princess!
Buddy was originally adopted in August 2021 and he was returned to ARWOB in November of 2022, basically because the original adopter's kitty was not accepting Buddy. He is a great cat and it's unfortunate that he was returned through no fault of his own. Fast forward to January 2023 and he was adopted by a loving mama, who shared these adorable photos with us. We are delighted that he is happy and so well loved!
"Buddy is doing fine! Adjustments on both sides, but we are working things out -- and we all love him!"
We received a wonderful "pupdate" about Panda and Kodiak, who were adopted together in January 2023. Here is what their adoptive mom has to say about them:
"Panda and Kodiak have brought much joy to us! They are both ~25 pounds now, and love people as well as other dogs. Kodiak in particular is a sweet girl who likes everyone. Both girls attended 6 puppy training sessions and will start intermediate training in May. They are smart, curious, loving, and are great sleepers to boot. In the photos, Panda’s face is more symmetrical. Kodiak has the wider stripe on her face and more black spots. You can tell that both puppies were loved and treated gently in their early life. We are grateful!"
