Thumbelina was adopted in October 2022. Her adoptive dad sent this cute photo and let us know that everything is going well with her and that she is a joy to have around.
We received an "PAWMAZING" update about Jeffrey and Donny, who were adopted together in October 2022. These sibling brothers waited a LONG time to find their “purrfect” forever home and obviously it was worth the wait! Their adoptive family just loves them to pieces! Here is what their adoptive mom has to say about these two handsome boys:
“We are so happy to be Jeffrey and Donny’s forever family. We feel we won the jackpot! We love them so much and they are both so adorable.
These guys are night owls for sure! They both run around the house most of the night. I get up in the morning and all the rugs are turned over and pushed into corners, and they look exhausted! They run and wrestle constantly. It is so much fun watching them. Jeffrey loves being under the covers when I sit down in the evening to read or watch tv. Donny not as much. He will lay on a blanket and curl up next to me, or on my lap, but doesn’t want too many covers. He’ll stay under them for about 5 minutes. We can hear thumping throughout the night when they run throughout the house and can’t quite make the turn in the hallway, sliding into the wall. We have three dogs and everyone gets along very well.
Both Jeffrey and Donny will lay next to my small dog and have used him for a pillow many, many times. It is so cute! My husband gives them a few treats in the morning and a few in the evening. As soon as they hear the crinkle of bag, they start meowing really loudly and running to the kitchen. They are super smart. They LOVE playing with ping pong balls. They swat at them and chase after them all day and night! The balls occasionally get lost under the couch or chair, so they are getting some more for Christmas! Their other hobby is laying in the sun. They will go from one room to the next following the sun.
My husband, sister and I love these boys. I have had pets since I was a toddler. These boys have an extra special place in my heart. We all love them so much.”

Allie Mae had a difficult journey and we are extremely happy that she is doing SO well with her new family, who opened their hearts and their home to Allie in October 2022. She was originally named Tasmin and had been adopted from ARWOB as a kitten in 2015. Unfortunately, she was abandoned at a local San Diego shelter by her family. They said they were moving, but we discovered they abandoned her because she had bladder stones and was in dire need to veterinary care, which ARWOB immediately provided, including surgery. She made a full recovery and now she is living her best life with her new family! Here is what her adoptive mom has to say about her:
"We love Allie (we just call her Allie) so much! She is such a sweet cat! She settled in immediately. She is so comfortable and outgoing. She loves to sleep on my lap and sleep on the bed at night. I meal feed her twice a day and she gets pretty vocal. Her foster, Pam, had taught her how to give high fives. I plan on teaching her more soon as she is very food motivated. She loves to look out the window at the wild birds."
Eve (fka Jackie) was adopted in September 2022. We are so happy to hear that she found her "purrfect" forever home! Here is what her adoptive mom has to say about her:
"We renamed Jackie to Eve and she is thriving! She loves her playtime which include pouncing on a wand toy under a blanket, and chasing a laser from corner to corner of the house, and will loudly announce her excitement when it’s time for her daily wet food. When winding down at night we usually watch a little tv before bed, and Eve will happily curl up on my partners lap and fall fast asleep. Usually she’s too comfortable to follow us to bed, but she does get lonely around 2/3am and will creep downstairs and slide in under the covers and curl up into the soft of my stomach until the morning. The morning is her favorite time of day. As soon as one of us is awake she rushes over to give an abundance of kisses on our hands, feet, face, anywhere she can access, and will chirp loudly until we return her affection with lots of pets and kisses. She happily bounds up the stairs and will follow me to my yoga mat where I spend 20 minutes stretching, and she spends 20 minutes trying to get in my way (and lick my toes). Eve is the most social, most loving, and happiest kitty I’ve ever met and I am so grateful she has joined our lives."
