We received a nice update about Rose and Leo (fka as Laurie and Jo), who were adopted together from ARWOB in May 2020. Â Here is what their adoptive mom has to say:
"Rose and Leo are doing great! They are both just over 10lbs now. They run around the house playing a game I call "Thunderpaws" and wrestle and play as siblings are apt to do. Rosie would love to be outdoors, as she seems to have the soul of a hunter.... she runs from window to window "chasing" the hummingbirds and lizards she sees outside. Â She sits at the front door screen and lets other neighborhood cats know that this is her home... and she even sometimes growls at the mailman. (yes, growls...silly cat). But she's loving and bonded with our family. Leo has created a strong bond with my 8 year old son. Every night he somehow finds his way into my son's bed and I find them curled up snoring away. He is a nuisance to poor Rosie.. but I guess that's the case with brothers. He's the more clumsy one but is the better bug/spider catcher! He also has beautiful long hair. Thanks again for choosing our family for these two... we just adore them."
We received a nice "pupdate" about Benji (fka Dolby), who was adopted from ARWOB in April 2020. Here is what his adoptive mom has to say: "It has been over a year since we adopted Benji (previously Dolby) and we absolutely adore him. Thank you for all you do and for helping us take Benji home! Here are his before and after pictures."
We received a fantastic update about Sesame (fka Nala), who was adopted from ARWOB in June 2021. Here is what her adoptive mom has to say:
"Nice to hear from you! Nala aka Sesame is settling in easily and wants to play play play! She made herself right at home and is very talkative. She has the cutest meow. She always greets me happily at the door when I get home from work and lets me know when she wants to play which is basically all the time. It’s been an interesting few weeks learning each other‘s boundaries but for the most part we are two peas in a pod. She definitely has her cuddle moments and sleeps beside me at night. She is the perfect companion, and is pretty good about not jumping up on the counters. I love her to pieces, my baby girl."
We received a spectacular "pupdate" about Barley (fka Wave), who was adopted in June 2021. Here is what his adoptive mom has to say:
"Thank you for checking in! Wave is doing great and settled into our family nicely. I named him Barley, but kept Wave as his middle name :) I'm so thankful for ARWOB and his foster mom Sylvie for connecting me with the best pup. He's so fun and sweet and I love him so much. I feel that his profile described him very well in size and temperament and they did such a great job with his socialization and early training. He is doing really well with our senior dog, River, and even got him playing again which is awesome. We have to separate them sometimes or the old man will try to play too much! Barley just got his first diploma at Petsmart training and we're continuing with the next levels of training. He loves walks on the trails, fetch, playing with the flirt pole, and he's starting to play frisbee, too. We just have fun and enjoy everyday! Thank you again for everything."
We received this wonderful "pupdate" about Rico (fka Frito), who was adopted in June 2021. Here is what his adoptive mom has to say:
“I decided to rename Frito to Rico. He has grown a lot - looks about 10lbs bigger! We’re working on home training such as “sit” “come” & “stay”. He’s learning & very attentive and smart. He’s settled in & everyone loves him. He certainly loves everyone back & is so friendly with all people. We’ve gone to dog park a couple of times as I want him to get more socialized. I plan on enrolling him in formal training.”
