We recently received a fabulous "pupdate" arbout River (fka Kalua), who was adopted in May 2021. Here is what his mom has to say:
"Thanks for reaching out to check in on River (Kalua). River has settled in perfectly into our little family. He’s been very well behaved and we’ve been bonding so much since he’s arrived. He’s already grown a bit since we first got him & is looking very healthy! He’s been responding very well to his training, so much so that’s he’s learned how to sit & lay & currently we’re working on name command. He’s also fully potty trained and crate trained. River has been an amazing addition to our family and we couldn’t be happier to have him. He’s playful, smart and loving. Please enjoy these photos attached from the past 2 weeks since adopting him."
We recently received a great "pupdate" about Tokki (fka Celia), who was adopted in May 2021. Here is what her mom has to say:
"Our little fur baby is getting big! The medium-sized crate we got her is a little small for her after less than a month. Her name was Celia (Cecilia), but we have named her Tokki (rhymes with Loki), which is Korean for bunny rabbit. She just turned 5 months and we have had her for one month as of today. What a handful! She is sweet, friendly, intelligent, kinda naughty, and extremely active. We've been very pleased that she isn't food aggressive. We have a 14-year-old Schipperke who has sidled up to Tokki's bowl a couple of times. The first time, Tokki just sat there and let her eat. The second time, Tokki gently nudged her away with her hip. So cute. We had an introductory obedience class about 2 weeks ago, and will start the 4 weekly sessions this Friday. Tokki learns well, when she can focus, which is hard to do when you are a puppy! She does okay so far on walks, but needs a bit more discipline when she sees other dogs or walks by a parked car with the engine idling. She loves her chew toys, plays fetch, and can catch a thrown toy on the fly. Tokki got the hang of going outside to do "business" after just a few days. Very bright. I have attached four pictures. We received a wonderful "update" about Ash (aka Nash), who was adopted from us in May 2021.
"Ash (formerly Nash) is doing great! He’s coming out of his shell and loves to spend time with my family during visits and other dogs at the park. Training is ongoing and he has taken well to it. We’ve gone to parks, hikes, and trails are the beach this weekend. We’ve quickly become great friends and I look forward to many more adventures with my new bud."
We received this wonderful update about Rose (fka Doggie) and Daisy (fka Kittie), who were adopted together in May 2021. Here is what their new family has to say:
"Kittie (Daisy) and Doggie (Rose) are doing great. They have both adjusted really well to our home and our other two cats, Violet and Wesley. They are so sweet and loving. We love having them, and they seem very happy to be with us. Thank you for trusting us with them."
