We love when we receive "pupdates" from repeat adopters! Reese (fka as Pinkie Pie) was adopted from ARWOB at the start of this year. Laddie joined Reese last month and they are BFFs. Here is what their adoptive mom has to say about these two cutie pies:
"Reese (fka Pinkie Pie) & Laddie are settling in very well! They cannot get enough of each other, constantly playing or napping together. Laddie is growing very quickly, already doubling his size in the month that we’ve had him. We think he’ll be a larger dog than what was originally predicted, which is definitely fun and exciting. At ~4 months old, Laddie is around the same size as Reese who’s now ~7 months old. These 2 have very different/opposing personalities- Reese is a timid and gentle soul, while Laddie is a curious social butterfly. They’re both relatively quick learners and are potty trained (thank goodness since we have carpet haha)! In terms of training, they’re both pretty food motivated so it’s been really fun coming up with new tricks and games to teach them."
We received this wonderful update about Peanut (fka Duchess) and Peachy (fka Marie), who were adopted together in April 2021. This is what their adoptive Mom has to say about them:
"Thank you for checking in! We've renamed our girls to Peanut (Duchess) and Peachy (Marie), and they're all settled in with us. Our lil' Peanut is a skilled hunter! Girlfriend scrambles, leaps, and swipes at her bird toys like she's in the cat Olympics. Such rawness! It's a lot of fun playing with her. When she's all tuckered out, she patiently sits by my feet, waiting for me to tell her it's ok to jump up on my lap. Very polite. She's affectionate and loves to cuddle in the evenings when my partner and I are having movie nights. Our sweet Peachy is just that. All sugar! She loves to rub up on legs and roll around on her back for pets. This girlfriend has a lot to say. She likes to greet us with chirps in the morning and loud, throaty meows when it's breakfast and dinner time. She's a patient cat and will tolerate our hugs and kisses! Both of our girls are just the best cats with their own funny personalities. Thank you, ARWOB, for these wonderful creatures."

We received a sweet "pupdate" about Sadie, who was adopted from ARWOB in April 2021. Here is what her adoptive Mom has to say about her:
"Thank you for checking in with me and Sadie. She has brought joy to our household. She is the same size as when I got her. We are busy training her on her digging habit. She enjoys picking my granddaughter up from school as is great with all the kids giving her pets. I am grateful to have found her. Here are a few photos to share with my granddaughter her frenchton and rides to Big Bear Lake CA. She is a great companion in the mountain for hikes. She also enjoys going to dog beaches in San Diego. Sadie is a a really good dog. She has helped me in my grief of losing my other dog that I had for 15 years. Sadie and I were a great match, all the family loves her."
We received a lovely "pupdate" about Lucy (fka Blue), who was adopted from ARWOB in April 2021. Here is what her adoptive Dad has to say about her:
"Lucy (formerly Blue) settled into the household very quickly. She is a delightful addition and keeps me smiling much of the time. She hasn’t grown appreciably in the past four weeks. I’ve trained her to sit and am working on extending her time to reliably stay. Her response to the come command is spotty, but we’re working on improving that. Lucy and I take at least two 30-minutes walks together every day and she is very familiar with all of the canine news spots in the neighborhood! She has a German shepherd cousin of the same age and they have enjoyed several play dates, where they romp and chase and tumble together! Lucy is such a blessing to me and keeps my spirits high. Thank you for entrusting her to me!"
