Pack Hike/Walk

Find us at Mission Bay (2195 East Mission Bay Drive parking) Looking to meet some of our rescue dogs who are available to foster or adopt? Perfect! You can either contact us to sign up and be part of the walk OR just stop by at the end of the walk to meet them. The Pack walk starts promptly at 930am and is finished by 1030am. The ARWOB team will leave location around 1045am so please make sure you if you don't want to miss the dogs to be at location by 1030am....or 915am if you are planning on joining the dogs on a walk. You can bring the whole family and your family dog as long as dog friendly on leash. See you then!

Looking for a fun healthy Saturday morning class? How about puppy yoga! Portion of the class fee is donated to ARWOB thanks to our frinds at Spirti Yoga :) Visit https://www.spirityogaandbarre.com/ To meet the dogs attending you do NOT need to sign up if yoga is not your cup of tea but can text or call us at 619 977 3593 to let us know you are planning on stopping by to meet them. The class is over at 12:15pm and you can stop by then to meet the dogs. We do leave the site by 12:45pm so please make sure to be at location by 1230pm or text us you are coming down so you don't miss us. Otherwise you are welcome to submit application onlines or email us to schedule meet and greets.

Looking to meet ANY of the adorable faces who are listed as attending? Then please, come on down to meet them in person. We will have 8-12 dogs present. They are all healthy and vetted. We are NOT in a rush to send our dogs home during the event, we prefer to have families come down and meet them and spend time with them. If you'd like to foster or even better adopt one or two of our sweethearts then you can submit an application online to start the process. Please, DO NOT inquire about adopting from our group if you can't provide landlord approval OR object to home checks. The primary purpose of this event is to have several of our rescues attend and be available for potential interested applicants meet them. If you find someone you are interested in you could adopt the same day or within the week, this is NO RUSH event. So, if you are NOT ready to adopt this weekend but will be in the next week or two then this is the event you want to attend to at least MEET them without pressure. Know someone looking to adopt or foster a dog? Send them our way! even if you do not find a match with ARWOB you are bound to find a great match with the hundreths of other rescue dogs attending wtih other rescues/shelters during this MEGA event. Please, make sure you check the animal attendance again the morning of the event to make sure the dog you are interested is attending. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you can't make the event and would like to meet someone in particular ahead of time we can schedule meets for Friday afternoon BUT we need applications submitted online before Thursday night to have plenty of time to contact you. Meg Dog adoption Event

Looking to adopt? Looking to foster? Great! drive down and meet us and our rescue dogs. We can help answer questions about our rescue dogs, our group, adoption process, Foster programs, Foster to adopt trials and you can also volunteer for an hour or the whole event if you want to hang out with our dogs for a while to really get to know them. They would love to go for a nice walk since we will be there for 4 LONG hours. Just make sure you have a picture ID with you like your DL (assumign you are new to ARWOB and have not submitted an application or adopted/fostered from us before- if you have volunterred, adopted or fostered from us before and we know who you are then no need for ID). The event ends at 3pm. Our volunteers and dogs will be tired and more than ready to GO HOME. Please, make sure to arrive by 2pm to have plenty of tiem to meet the dogs and talk to us as we will start breaking down/loading up before 3pm. Some of our dogs will attend with their foster parents and only hang around for the first half of the event. If there is a specific dog you'd like to meet please send us a text or email with the name of the dog(s) you'd like to meet IF you are attending after 1pm so we can make sure we request the foster to hang back. We look forward for these dogs to find a forever family. ALL our dogs are UTD on medical in San Diego and READY to go home. Rememher our foster to adopt trials are fantastic ways to give a dog a chance and for you to feel comfortable you made the right choice for a lifetime companion who is well matched for you and your family/home. IMPORTANT NOTE: There will be MANY rescue groups. Each group will have its own booth. We are booth #9 which you can find the ARWOB booth directly infront of the "Famous Footwear" store. Stop by and meet our rescues, if you don't find a friend and new family member with us, then you are bound to find him/her with one of the other rescues attending! You don't want to miss this event

Dog and Kitten adoption Event

ARWOB will be holding a dog and cat adoption during the Bird Stock Musical Festival and you can find our feline rescues INSIDE our friends at Bird Rock Animal Hospital while our canine rescues will be outside at the ARWOB canopy or walking around with volunteers networking them and enjoying the music! If you are looking to adopt, foster, or volunteer let us know! Stop by and meet our rescues and ask us anything! We will need volunteers for the feline and canine section if you can help, sign up! If you see a dog or cat not selected as attending please make sure to contact us to ask/request if the dog or cat can attend. We are looking for adopters AND fosters. Ask us about our foster to adopt trials too! The bird rock music festival goes until 8pm BUT ARWOB will only be on site until 1pm. Please make sure to arrive no later than 12:30pm if you'd like to meet them as we will be loading/packing up by 1pm, Thank you and we look forward to meeting you!
