To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Marie Lou was rescued from Baja 2 months back and is fully quarantined and vaccinated. She is like all young pups...not house trained, but is learning crate training. She is a sweet, well adjusted, adorable little girl. She is currently about 4 months and 8 pounds, and will likely grow to be under 20 pounds with a long coat like a maltese. We do not know her parents and do not know her exact breed, but we are going off what she looks like. If you are looking for a hypoallergenic dog we can't say that she is and you would need to meet her to see if you react to her coat. We recommend that adopters with allergies should already be under care with allergy medication/therapy, or not apply for her.
