Betty is quite the catch as you would immediately discover if you were to meet her! She is quite the submissive little girl and listens well to corrections. You would never think Betty were a stray as she loves being in the house and curled up in her doggie bed chewing on a rawhide. She knows her boundaries VERY well and knows which rooms she's not allowed into. It seems Betty might be potty-trained or she is at least is very insistent on 'going' outside and will anxiously wait by the door to let you know she needs out. She is very good with other dogs and hasn't engaged in any resource guarding. Upon first meeting though, she is ever so slightly cautious but only if the other dog is too exuberant and coming off as a little dominant. Betty is mostly a quiet girl and would do well by herself inside the house or outside where she hasn't been known to destroy or dig around the yard.
Upon rescue, it was noted that Betty had an injured tail! It's almost fully recovered and her 'happy tail' has returned indeed! And yes, she is an extremely happy girl and will seek pets and praise from EVERYONE - men and women. We think she would do quite well with children since she is so gentle and a very respectful little lady with the best manners! She is the perfect size for an apartment plus, as mentioned, she definitely likes to hang around indoors with her people! She is so wonderful and such a joy!
