To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Pixie,

She is such a sweet and loving girl! Pixie is a typical energetic, playful, fun loving girl who would make a great addition to the family. Due to her size and potential to knock small children over, a family with children age 5 and above would be best. Although she is energetic, she settles down nicely and can be a great cuddle buddy. Pixie is learning some basic commands and how to walk nicely on a leash. She is very smart, a quick learner, and would love to have a family that will continue her basic training. She gets along great with other dogs and doesn’t push if they don’t want to play. She has been cat tested and will need to go to a home without cats. Pixie is currently working on her house training and can stay indoors without an accident if she has access to get outdoors several times a day. She is also working on crate training. She would love access to a yard with secure fencing or even a patio area where she can bathe in the sun.
