She just went into a foster home and her foster mom has this to say about her:
'
I have had Anya for three days and she’s a great little dog. Shecrate-trained, has had no accidents in the house, and just wants to be where her people are! If there is nothing going on around the house,
she will settle down and take a nap in her crate on her own or play with stuffed toys by herself. I leave the crate open and she goes in and out as she pleases. I’ve had to put her in it a few times during
the day, and there is no crying or scratching. When I get back, she is just sitting in there wagging her hind end, waiting to be let out!
She gets along great with my 9 year old cairn terrier, who is a little grumpy. She has been able to coax him into playing with her briefly a few times, but when he doesn’t want to play, he lets her know, and she backs off respectfully. She loves going to the dog park and will round up all the balls at the park and try to play with every one of them. She’ll play fetch for a very long time. In the meantime,
she’ll go up and visit with the other people at the park. She doesn’t pay a lot of attention to the other dogs unless they have joined in her game of fetch.
She pulls a little while walking, but nothing a little training couldn’t fix. Also, I do feed her and my dog separately, but only because she’ll eat her food quickly and then run over and finish his
food. She shows no dominance over food at all. She just wants it.
Overall, Anya would be a great fit for anyone who could get her out and play with her at the park or take her for walks as she has a lot of energy. She’s very gentle, so I think she’d be ok with kids, as
well."
