Matty is house and crate trained.
great with dogs and cats
Safe with people and children
Does best with women than men. She has been fostered by two different people. One a young guy who was inexperienced around dogs and Matty loved the girlfriend but was only 'ok' with him. Another inexperienced first time around dogs and she didnt attach to either. She LOVES her foster mom. She also has shown a lot of affection to volunteers at events and walks. Understand. she may be shy when she first is adopted until she gets to know her new people.
Matty can jump HIGH. she is FUNNY when she starts jumping as she looks like shes jumping on a trampoline. She doesn't seem to be an escape artist or fence jumper BUT prefer adopter with tall 6 ft fence just in case.
Not a big barker, can occassionally whine. Does well when left home alone but she is fostered with other dogs, not sure how she would do if left home alone with no other dogs or people.
She is a fun, SAFE, loving perfect medium size girl who will be an amazing new family member.
Adopter should enroll in dog taining to learn how to redirect when she jumps which she tends to do it when she is nervous or anxious. She loves car rides and is perfect for hikes and runs while being easy going inside the house.

Meet Matty!
Sweet Matty is a young GSD/shep/possibly husky mix. She is timid and an old soul learning new things and being exposed to new things like car rides, collar/ leash, and people being nice to her! She would be a great companion dog as she loves to be with you or near you. She does well with all people and dogs and cats. She seems to trust women, more than she trusts men.
She is ideally the dog for someone who is looking for a sweet, small shepherd.
