To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Luke and Leia are two siblings being fostered in Vista. They will be ready for adoption the weekend of 12/21/18 and attending our dog and cat adoption on 12/22. They are friendly, social, active, playful, and sweet kittens who like children, dogs, and other cats.

Leia's foster mother has this to say about this beautiful girl:

"Leia is a petite beauty. She is curious, but more cautious than her brother, Luke. She loves toys of all kinds and especially loves running through the cat tunnels. She is content to cuddle and begins to purr when she is relaxed. She is a very sweet, loving kitty. She gets along great with other cats as well as dogs, but she may need more of a slow introduction to others than her brother, Luke. She will make a perfect pet for a family or single person looking for a loving kitty companion. She does love to explore and enjoys playing with her brother as well as playing on her own with a variety of toys."

Kittens are very cat oriented. If you do not have another animal in the home, please consider adopting Leia's brother or another kitten or kitty as well so that she will not be lonely and will have a buddy to play and snuggle up with when you are not home.
