To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Storm!

Storm and her identical daughter, Blizzard, came to us as stray kitties from Tijuana, Mexico. Storm, the mom, is very sweet and outgoing. Her little daughter, Blizzard, is shy and a little scared of human approach, but, once being petted, she seeks attention. Update: Little Blizzard has been adopted.

Storm is a VERY beautiful and loving young adult and we hope she finds the best of homes. She would be a great ONLY cat; we don't know how she will do around dogs. She is doing well in the center surrounded by other cats, but we aren’t sure if she just seems to tolerate them. What she enjoys MOST of all is sitting next to you and seeking affection. She is so gentle and absollutely loves being petted and near you.

We have had her with us for about a month and a half and cannot believe that she has not yet been adopted! Sometimes some of the quiet, gentle kits who don't just jump on your lap the minute you meet them can be overlooked, but once you meet and interact with Storm, you will realize that she is, indeed, a "gem" and well worth the time getting to know one another. She will make a wonderful addition to any family..
