Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Meet Fluffy!

Fluffy is an incredibly handsome young teen approx. 8 months old who is mostly a white solid color with a Siamese cream colored patch on the forehead. Because of his coat and his blue eyes, we think he is a long haired kitty who resembles a Turkish/Siamese mix.

Fluffy was rescued from the streets of Tijuana in late November/early December as a skinny stray trying to survive by seeking food from people. A volunteer noticed him, picked him up to take home, and requested that we take him under our care.

Fluffy will need to be the only pet in the home. He doesn't do well with dogs or cats around as he becomes comfrontational and can accidentaly bite if he is being petted and other animals are around him. He would do great as an only cat. He does have one incident of biting someone when he was in our cat adoption center and this was likely the result of him being petted while other cats were around him creating a hostile response. Otherwise he is a very loving attention seeking and silly handsome feline.

Fluffy can be a little nippy and depending on the situation, can bite. Our volunteers report he is mostly very loving, outgoing, social and playful. However, because he is getting used to the 'home environment' and not living in the streets anymore a home with NO young children is preferred.

Fluffy is a total goof and loves to cuddle in bed with you as well as be part of the family by being with his humans wherever they are in the home. He is not a vocal cat like most Siamese are.
