Meet Meeko!
Meeko was rescued from the streets of Tijuana in mid April. She is very sweet and your typical friendly cat. Since Meeko came into rescue she has been in a kennel setting poor little girl has gained some weight and we are hoping we can find a foster family for her ASAP to give her a break from the adoption centers. Volunteers report Meeko is a very good girl, she can be moody sometimes when too many cats enter the center especially too many adult cats. But she has been seen/found often playing with kittens or a single adult cat who is also playful and interested in playing. We don't know how she is around dogs, she has never lived with children but volunteers who come in with their kids tell us she enjoys being held and seeks their companionship.
meeko would do fine in a home with another adult cat but would also love to be the only cat.
If you'd like to meet Meeko we request an application to either foster or adopt is submitted online and we will be happy to set up a meet and greet likely at the petsmart clairemont location.
