Meet Poppy!
Poppyis an adorable young shepherd mix. She was rescued from the streets of Tijuana hungry and noticeably not thriving as she was skin and bones. This little girl is already full grown and seems to be a very small shepherd mix true to the Baja dog ”mutts” ...a perfect apartment size dog with the energy of a large breed. She would be a fantastic runner or hiker and even better doggy day care dog or if you like to walk around the neighborhood, she would just love it she likes to socialize with both dogs and cats. She is very crate trained, but she hasn’t been worked in the aspects of dog training and an adoptee for her would need to have the time for training. We would love to find a foster for Poppy so if you’re thinking about adopting her, perhaps you’d like to foster her if you have any hesitations in order to make sure she’s the right match for you.
