Jerry is a very handsome and sweet kitten/teen who came to us with his brother, Johnny Cash. (Jerry is currently with another group in Escondido because they were seperated to be socialized) If you are looking to adopt 2 brothers and perhaps help reunite these two, we would be happy to help connect with the other rescue group to meet Jerry as well and perhaps adopt both boys together. Otherwise, he can be adopted into a home with another kitty or adopted with one of his many friends like badger or batman, etc.
Johnny and Jerry where feral kittens when they came to us at 3 months of age, it took about a month to socialize and we are happy to report the other group mentioned he is coming around nicely and seeks attention. He should be great with all dogs and cats, and likely children who are gentle and slow movements at least during the first couple weeks of getting used to his new home environment and home but the little intereaction he has had with kids at the center have been very positive and enjoys them loving on him. He can be apprached, picked up and, of course, petted. Strong purr bucket with this one! He sometimes will still hiss when approached, but as soon as you pet him he settles down quickly
