To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

UPDATE 5/19/20:

Emmett’s foster mom sent this update: “Emmett is the sweetest, friendliest boy. He gets along great with dogs and cats alike, and loves to play, or just cuddle up by your side. He is gentle and loving. Emmett is learning to walk on a leash, and is a good eater. He always finishes his food. Emmett is a great friend. He especially likes to chase squirrels in the yard, and enjoys his bully sticks. Emmett would do best with other pets, as he’s very social. He could also be an only pet, and will take all the love you can give him!”

Emmett is an adorable small breed senior pup who was found and rescued off the streets of Ensenada... just skin and bones, and he has been fostered and cared for in Ensenada. He can use a foster in SanDiego and his care takers say he is an AMAZING little guy with a great demeanor and easily gets along with all animals and people! He can be adopted or fostered to adopt. In either case, an adoption application should be submitted and he will need a foster as soon as 4/29.
