Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meow! My name is Gus, but my foster mom calls me "Little Nugget" or sometimes Diesel because my purr is so loud like a diesel engine! I was super tiny when I arrived at my foster home after my first eye surgery. A nice person found me in Tijuana with a huge cut on my face over my left eye and my arm. I've had two eye surgeries and my eye is healed now, but as you can see, my left eye opens not as much as my right eye. My eye healed quite well considering how bad my injury was and part of my eyelid was missing from the large cut, BUT that doesn't affect my vision at all and being a crazy playful kitten! :) I am fearless, adventurous, love playing with my toys, love wrestling with my stuffed animal kitty friend Chester, and doing the zoooooommies!!! I also love meal time and sitting in my foster mom's lap to clean my face and take a food coma nap. When my foster mom's lap isn't available, I love snoozing in the cozy cat bed with a cozy blanket. I try to play with the resident cat, but he's an old man and isn't amused by my kitten shenanigans..HA! :)

Check out my cute photos and videos! Some show me after my surgeries and my eye looks kind of yuicky, but my eye is all healed now and I am ready for my furever family!! :) I would love to be adopted along with another kitten or join a family with a young cat who likes to play and wrestle, as well as do the zoooooommies with me! :)
