These adorable shep/saint/lab mix pups were rescued from a canyon during fire season in Ensenada in mid July. There is a total of 3 siblings, including 1 girl and 2 boys. They were close to a brush fire in a canyon in Baja and were spotted by a good sam, who thankfully rescued them.
These cuties are ready for adoption! They are typical active, social, playful, silly, and energetic pups. The girl is approximately 14 pounds and the boys are approximately 18 pounds at 2-3mo of age. Therefore, we believe they will likely be in the 60-90 pound range when they are full grown. We do not have any information on their parents, so we cannot verify if they will be a large dog or an XL dog breed.
Like all pups, they are very outgoing and will need an adopter who is willing to enroll them in dog training classes. They are already crate trained. The ideal and best adopter will be one who owns a home instead of renting in order to avoid landlord approvals, which can be hard for most XL breeds.
NOTE to adopters:
These pups are ready to meet families as soon as Thursday, 9/3/20, and can also go home with approved families. HOWEVER, these pups are NOT sterilized yet, but they do have a prescheduled spay/neuter day for the end of October. This means adopters MUST be local to San Diego to ensure their adoptive families will be able to take them to our veterinarian for their scheduled surgeries. Sorry, but we will NOT be able to adopt to out-of-town families for this reason.
The meet and greet will be scheduled in the 92117 area and we are accepting applications now. Don’t wait! Submit your application today!
