Meet Ted, Teddy & Tee!
This adorable trio was rescued from a 'granero' in Tijuana when a friend of Arwob emailed us the video of their situation and we were able to take them in.
A couple of days after arriving in San Diego with Arwob, Teddy had a rectum prolapsed...likely because he was fairly emaciated and parasite ridden. He had emergency surgery to repair it right away and has had an excellent recovery and outcome.He, of course, will not have further issues with this.
The kittens have been quarantined and are already ready for adoption now that they have gained weight and are sterilized up to their medical.
They were fostered together originally, but we moved Teddy (white and grey medium coat boy) to a new foster who has a dog, adult cat, and rabbit. He is your typical kitten... playful and social. He is good with all and can be matched with another Arwob cat/kitten for adoption or adopted into a home with another cat.
Teddy update 10/27: Teddy's foster mom has this to say about him: He is a sweet kitty who loves to play, but also likes to cuddle with you. Teddy is a "purr monster" and begins the moment he sees you! He always purrs especially when he’s being loved on. He wil lie on your lap and cuddle at night when he is tired! He does like to cuddle with their cat, but their cat doesn't prefer it much, although allows it sometimes. (the foster family cat is an adult cat) Teddy is fearless and he loves their bunny and walks right up to foster dogs. His favorite toy is the laser. He is a wild thing and LOVES to play with toys by himself or wrestle with the cat! He would enjoy a buddy who enjoys playing too, He also lets his foster mom snip his claws with no problem at all!
Teddy is a playful, social kitten and and he can be adopted along with another Arwob feline rescue or into a home with other cats. Kittens are very cat oriented and can be very lonely without a companion when you are not home. This way, they will have another kitty to play and cuddle up with when you are not with them, and, as an added bonus, they will double your pleasure and fun as well!
