Banshee is a little tuxedo spayed female kitten who was rescued as a singleton 3 week old found in Tijuana, Mexico in mid August. The social media page where we noticed her mentioned she had found a kitten and had no idea what to do with her; she wouldn't drink the milk she bought (human milk) so we stepped in and took her into foster care to bottle feed her for a couple of weeks. The first day she arrived, she was SO hungry and cold that she was screaming for help! It took 24hrs for her to regulate her temperature and be able to feel satisfied and I'm sure the neighbors could hear her when she was meowing for food! Hence, her name "Banshee" was born. We also knew she would be adoptable in October in time for Halloween; of course, her screaming only lasted one day so her name is no longer fitting, but she has been little Banshee since she arrived, which means her new family can give her a better name :)
She was fostered on her own the first month because she was so young. We started to introduce her to cats and dogs and she does very well with them. Currently she is fostered on her own, but occasionally has playdates with other Arwob kittens and enjoys their company. After a few hisses and "kitty type reaction" when meeting new cats, they start playing together. She has always had excellent litter box training and is a very smart, clean, and loving/social kitten. She does have an "uncomfortable" issue when new people pick her up and doesn't love her belly touched or the way you pick her up/hold her, but that's always with new people because her foster can do whatever and place her in whatever position and she loves it. She likes to find you in bed or on the sofa and cuddles; she loves to play and run around. She is friendly and social and not the type of kitty to hide even with strangers,but again, being picked up by people she doesn't know she is not a fan... buy the girl a can of tuna first ;)
Her ideal home will have cats and dogs or at least one of these Friends. Otherwise, consider adopting another of the Arwob rescues along with her.
