Meet Snow and her Seven Dwarfs (Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy, Bashful, Doc, Sneezy, and Dopey)!

UPDATE 11/15/20:

Doc is a hefty guy, although he has some Spaniel and Pointer characteristics, so he will be in the larger range of a medium sized dog. It is doubtful he will grow up to be less than 40lbs and more likely 50lbs.

Doc will do best in a home setting, as he is an active pup who will need training and excercise.  He is a sweet, social friendly pup that is excellent with kids, dogs, and cats. He is catching up on crate training and can sleep through the night, but he will need an adopter who is home during the day, as he cannot be home alone for long periods of time.

ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:

This adorable family of eight was relinquished in Ensenada and ARWOB was able to step up and take the entire family in, including mama Snow and her seven pups!

The Seven Dwarfs: Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy, Bashful, Doc, Sneezy, and Dopey :

We have a litter of seven pups, including 5 boys and 2 girls. They are approximately 2 months old, weighing approximately 10 pounds. Some pups have short hair and some have fluffy ears, so our best guess is they are a Spaniel/Pointer mix. We think their mama Snow is an American Bulldog/Pointer mix, but she may also have some Dalmatian and Cattle Dog in her genes. The mama Snow is 42 pounds, so we think the pups will likely be 30-50 pounds when full grown (medium sized dogs). They are great with people, dogs, cats, and kids!!

Because of COVID-19, sterilization appointments have been difficult to schedule. The pups will all be sterilized on Tuesday, January 19th (at 4 months of age) in the 92104 area of San Diego. This means the pups can only be adopted to local families in the San Diego area to ensure they are able to take their newly adopted puppy to the pre-scheduled surgery appointment, and then pick them up at the end of the day after surgery.

Therefore, please do NOT submit an application if you are not local to San Diego and able to attend the appointments shown below.  If you would like to adopt and live outside of San Diego area, you are welcome to wait until their sterilization surgeries have been completed to see if the rescue you are interested in is still available.

If you are interested in adopting one of the Seven Dwarfs, please submit an online adoption application at www.arwob.org. Don’t wait!
