Meet Coffee!
UPDATE 1-20-21: Here is what Coffee's foster mom has to say about him:
"Coffee is so sweet and very playful. He enjoys his family time and focused attention with us, but also can play alone and entertain himself. He is almost completely crate trained and getting closer to being house trained (he still has the occasional pee accident). He is learning to sit and give paw and enjoys playing fetch and playing with his toys. He is both food motivated and toy motivated, and of course motivated by love and affection. He is also now leash trained and enjoys going for walks, he also does well on car rides. He enjoys children and has done well with our 3 children ages 3, 5, and 7, as well as our cat, and the neighbors dog."
ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:
Coffee was found on the streets of Ensenada Mexico and we are still learning about his personality. We will post more information about him as we learn more from his current foster family. We do know he is a typical young pup with lots of energy, which is the case with most pups his age. He is great with kids, dogs, and cats!
Because of COVID-19, sterilization appointments have been difficult to schedule. Coffee will both be sterilized on Thursday, January 28th in the 92109 area of San Diego. This means he can only be adopted to local families in the San Diego area to ensure they are able to take their newly adopted puppy to the pre-scheduled surgery appointment, and then pick him up at the end of the day after surgery.
Therefore, please do NOT submit an application if you are not local to San Diego and able to attend the appointment shown above. If you would like to adopt and live outside of San Diego area, you are welcome to wait until his sterilization surgery has been completed to see if he is still available at that time.
