To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Benita!

Benita is a charming little Terrier/Poodle mix, who is great with other dogs, cats, and children. She is super social and loving towards everyone!

Benita will be available to meet potential adopters as soon as Wednesday, March 25th, through March 28th. If all goes well with her meet and greet, she can potentially go home that day. However, due to COVID-19, sterilization appointments have been difficult to schedule. Benita will be spayed in the 92104 area of San Diego on Monday, April 12, 2021. Therefore, priority will given to local area applicants. This will ensure they are able to take the her to the pre-scheduled surgery appointment and then pick her up at the end of the day after surgery. Please do NOT submit an application if you do not live in the San Diego area. If you would like to adopt and live outside of San Diego area, you are welcome to wait until her sterilization surgery has been completed to see if she is still available at that time (please note that we do not place holds on any of our rescues).
