Meet Jetta!
UPDATE: Here is what the staff at the boarding facitlity has to say about Jetta:
"Jetta is a fun loving well rounded dog. She previously grew up with a family that had two children that Jetta loved to play with. They moved to San Diego at the beginning of the pandemic to start a business. The family wasn't able to find housing that would accept a dog so Jetta lived at the business shop. Jetta potentially developed allergies to her new environment and had chronic skin issues and ear infections. The family decided Jetta deserved a better quality of life and decided to rehome her. With a change in Jetta's diet since being in foster and a couple of medicated baths, Jetta's skin issues have resolved. Jetta's left ear has scar tissue from the chronic ear infections and is currently being treated for the infection. She is crate trained, not a big barker or jumper, loves to go for her daily walk or the dog park or beach, loves to cuddle and play with her toys, and with you. She is good about hanging out and lying on her bed watching you while you work. She knows how to sit and shake paws. She is well socialized with people, other dogs, but not with cats. Jetta has never lived with another dog, but is good in social groups."
ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:
We are looking for a foster family for this sweet girl as soon as possible, although ideally we would love to find her a forever adopter right away! Her adoption fee of $200 will be “refunded” to the right adopter, who enrolls her in dog training classes. Upon completion of the dog training classes, her new family will be able to request a “refund” of the $200 adoption fee (proof of completion of training will be required).
Jetta is good with children and other dogs, but she does not do well around cats. If you would like to foster or adopt this beautiful girl, please complete an online application at www.arwob.org. Don’t wait!
