Meet Patrick!
Patrick was found in the streets of Ensenada Mexico early in April. He had been fostered in Ensenada by his rescuer, who has dogs, cats, and kids, so we know he is great with everyone! They had been doing some training and he knows sit, stay, down, and give me your paw. He sleeps in his crate and does well with crate training. He also tends to have good control and can hold it until he goes outside, but can use pee pads inside sometimes. Patrick is currently 25 pounds and approximately 4 months old. Since we don't know anything about parents, we don't know his exact breeds or how big he will be when full grown. We think he will be in the 50 pound range. He is a typical active, happy, full of shenanigans puppy, so he will need an adopter with time for house training and dog training. He is now fostered in San Diego and is ready to schedule a meet and greet TODAY!
Patrick can meet potential adopters right away. If all goes well with his meet and greet, he can potentially go home that day. However, he will be sterilized in the 92104 area of San Diego on Monday, June 28, 2021. This means priority will given to local area applicants. This will ensure they are able to take him to the pre-scheduled surgery appointment and then pick him up at the end of the day after surgery. Please do NOT submit an application if you do not live in the San Diego area. If you would like to adopt and live outside of San Diego area, you are welcome to wait until his sterilization surgery has been completed to see if he is still available at that time (please note that we do not place holds on any of our rescues).
