To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

UPDATE 7-11-21: Here is what Polly's foster has to say:

"Polly is still such a sweet girl that loves to play with other dogs as well children. She is playful and cuddly and loves to wrestle with her sister Tai. She knows how to sit and is almost completely potty trained. She loves to take naps in her crate too. Polly would make a great addition to any loving family."

UPDATE 6-15-21: Here is what Polly's foster mom has to say:

"Polly is a sweet, mild little girl that is cautious with new people. She is loving and cuddly and has a soft beautiful white coat. She loves to play with tennis balls and wrestles with her sister for fun. She is good with small children and other animals. She would be such a fantastic addition to any family."

ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:

Polly and Cody were born in Ensenada, Mexico. Their mother is owned by a neighbor of a local dog rescuer, who happened to receive a plea for help to place the pups in good homes. She offered to help since she volunteers for a rescue group. She was also able to get the mother dog spayed.

These pups will be large breed dogs that will likely reach the 50 pound range when full grown. We do not know anything about the father, but we are told the mother is a large breed (we are awaiting more information). They are very sweet dogs, but true to their breed, they are ACTIVE and will need an adopter that is ready for puppy training and house training.
