To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Toby!

UPDATE 5-9-22: Here is what Toby’s foster mom has to say:

“Toby is tiny girl with a huge heart for loving and cuddling her family members. She tries not to show favorites, but I can tell my son is her favorite person in the house. She follows him around and can’t stop giving him kisses. Her personality is so chill and observant. She is not the typical “rough and tumble” type of puppy. She is more dainty and ridiculously adorable. We are working on potty training and making progress I. The right direction. Toby learns quickly and is a loyal companion. She deserves the most perfect family!”

ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:

Oh, my goodness! This little sweetheart has such a beautiful personality and yes, SHE is a girl. Her foster parents named her Toby, so what can we say? Ha ha!

We don't know what breed this little girl is except she is a total MUTT from Baja Mexico and will likely be a small-medium breed. Currently as of the beginning of May, she is 10.5 pounds and approximately 3 months old, so we think she will likely reach the 30-45 pound range when full grown. She seems to be a large shepherd breed with a small terrier mix. Toby is fantastic with dogs, cats and children. She is crate trained and will be attending our upcoming adoption event Sunday, May 15th.
