To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Buddy!

If you are looking for a friend and family member to adopt, then look NO further because this sweet boy's name fits him purrfectly!! He is a true buddy not only to humans but also other fellow animals alike. He is the most affectionate, sweet, loving cat who mingles so well with everyone. He is a young adult at 2 years of age and was recently relinquished back to us at no fault of his own because one of the resident kitties never adjusted to him.

Buddy lived at Casa de ARWOB for a month and was around dogs and cats and did amazing with them all. He played with the ones who wanted to play and slept/cuddled with the ones who wanted to chill. Same with the dogs. He always seeks human attention and enjoys sitting with you while you work at the desk. He also enjoys following you around and at night, cuddling with you in the bed as you watch TV. He just wants to be around you! He loves to play as well. His personality overall is very dog-like. He loves to rub his face on yours, and when you come in the room he likes to put his two front paws on your legs to greet you and give you hugs.

He would be great with children as well, and has been exposed to young children. He has a BIG kitty body and is SO handsome. He would be fine as an only cat but would be happiest and thrive in a home with another cat or dog friend instead of a home as the only kitty.

Currently Buddy is fostered in the San Elijo area (San Marcos). It would be great if the adopter can drive to meet him at his foster's home, BUT we can also drive him down to our adoption center in Clairemont area in the 92117 area.
