Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet CeCe!

The following is a quick bullet point on this rescue, please read the complete biography to know ALL we know about this wonderful rescue dog while under our care:

Excellent health
Excellent with ALL humans. Has not lived with children but she would be amazing

Has been exposed to cats and does well supervised. We think she would be great in a home with cats.

CeCe was found roaming along an irrigation canal in the city of Mexicali. The son of one of our Indy rescuers was kind enough to help CeCe when he saw her near the canal. She was covered in fleas and very malnourished. We were contacted for help, and we set her up with a foster in Baja while her quarantine started. She has been a dream of a dog!

Cece has been in San Diego since early February 2023 and we boarded her at a local veterinary clinic while we finished her medical like being spayed, etc. Once medical was finished she went to casa de arwob where she learned to be crate trained and we observed for personality. She is amazing with ALL humans, dogs and even cats. She is such an amazing dog and lucky girl after almost 2 months we were able to find a foster family for her. The following are update notes from her current foster family which consists of 2 adults and 2 adult large breed dogs in a home with yard setting. However, we know Cece would be a perfect dog for ANY home situation from an apartment living single working adult to a large family home with children and other pets in the home. She is just THAT amazing. So, let's get this beautiful girl HOME!

note: Please, DO NOT submit applications for Cece if you have ANY hesitation about ANY bully breed (American pit bull, pit bull terrier, staffy, etc) Cece is a baja mutt which means she likely has many breeds in her genetics but we can see from physical attributes she likely has Pit bull in her although she is fairly petite and already full grown in the mid 50 pounds.

Hi Team!…just wanted to check in and provide an update.

CeCe is so wonderful! She did great in the crate overnight and is fitting in perfectly in our clan. She has become besties with Riley, our lab mix. They love playing together! While I work on my computer, she hangs in the crate and I’ve been letting them go play every few hours. Everything is going great…she is very smart, sweet, playful. ♥️. No concerns AT ALL! We have a gem on our hands!

Happy Friday! CeCe is fitting into our pack perfectly. What a wonderful dog!! We are definitely going to have a hard time parting with her. Everything is going great! She is doing wonderful. Thank you!!

Hi Alondra! As you can see, CeCe has made some best friends! She is still doing really well. We took her this past weekend to the dog park, gave her a bath, and she is getting lots of love while she waits for her forever home! Hope all is going well with the other ARWOB pups!

For her bio: CeCe is such an amazing pup! She is smart, sweet, and playful. She is crate trained, potty trained, and is picking up leash training very quickly. She knows her basic commands and is a quick learner. She loves playing but is also very cuddly couch potato.
Anyone would be lucky to have CeCe as their furever pup”.

CeCe is a dream ♥️ and my husband just ADORES her!....we all do and every person that meets her during walks does too! Children are always going out of their way to pet her :)
